PIRANESI @ JOHN SOANE MUSEUM

'Amongst the most significant examples of European graphic art are the fifteen highly resolved preparatory drawings by Giovanni Battista Piranesi and held in Sir John Soane's Museum. Produced for Piranesi's last great graphic project his Différentes vues de Pesto…'

Amongst the drawings are a post 'Carceri d'invenzione' fantasia and in the same case an unfinished capricci, both mesmerising

Future Urban Networks

Future Urban Networks is a research group based at the University of Huddersfield. F.U.N. developed from Unit 15, the postgraduate MArch architecture unit run by Nic Clear first at the Bartlett School of Architecture then at the University of Greenwich.

F.U.N. specialises in using film, animation, 3D scanning and motion graphics to generate, develop and represent architectural and spatial concepts and interventions.

Nic Clear is Head of the Department of Architecture and 3D Design at the University of Huddersfield.
